"Go to Sunnydale. Visit a man named Giles. Rupert Giles." A stuffy Watcher spoke and Ashe couldn't help but grin. "For a minute there I was thinking you were going to say Bond, James Bond." Being here had not stopped her energetic personality. "This is serious!" The Watcher was getting upset, the tell tale sign was the temple on his forehead that looked ready to explode. "I know. I'm ready, I'm your girl." Ashe snapped into serious mode, wondering what was going to happen.
Ashelia was new to Sunnydale. After her stay at the Council, they figured they could send her here, and see Giles yet she suspected he was never told. Dressed in heavy black boots, a pair of ripped jeans, and a jacket, with her hair short and messy, Ashelia looked like a rebel. She was anything but a rebel. From living in Boston, Ashe wore what she had to, considering her family were never rich. Slinging her bag over her back, Ashe looked around, before her eyes were drawn to the roof. Man this place is creepy. Hope I find Giles soon. Then I can figure out how to get some clothes that don't look all rebel child like. Ashe thought with a half smile.
Walking into the school building, Ashe kept her eyes on her surroundings before her feet began carrying her into the cafeteria. Hungry stabbed at her stomach and she groaned softly. Feeling eyes on her, Ashe kept moving before knocking into a male student(Xander), and she stepped back. "I am so sorry." Ashe gasped, a faint trace of a British accent could be heard. Hey, you don't spend nearly 6 years in a country without picking up on their accents. "Man I feel like a fool." Ashe ran her fingers through her short, spiky black hair, dark eyes held nothing but concern. Was the boy alright?

Xander walked through the halls of Sunnydale High, his pack oddly heavy, filled with trig homework he couldn’t do at all. “Stupid teacher” He mumbled
“Mr Harris, you have to do this or else detention for a month” he added in a high pitched voice, his imitation of Miss Beakman. “If I get to choose detention for a month sounds great” he mumbled to himself.
At least he had a lifeline in the red-headed form of Willow, she would get him out of this mess that he’d made. If only he hadn’t left all his trig homework under his bed in the hopes that it’d all magically vanish like his socks… that plan didn’t end well, especially after his dad found out about it, that whole ‘my dog ate it’ excuse didn’t work once your dad tells your teacher that you’ve never had a dog because your mom’s allergic.
He wasn’t watching where he was going, to busy trying to think of a way out of learning trig, so far moving to Nepal was the winning idea. As he turned into the Cafeteria he bumped into someone, a girl, a British girl.
“Oh no it’s totally my fault, I wasn’t thinking which is the norm”
He felt really embarrassed for bumping into her,
“Well you bumped into the biggest one on campus”
He said putting his hands nervously into his pockets, rocking on the balls of his feet, feeling really sheepish.
“So I’m guessing your new, only cos I haven’t seen you round before”
He definitely would have noticed her before,. It wasn’t that hard to miss her “Oh gee sorry in all my stupidity I didn’t get your name… I’m Xander” he said sheepishly.

Ashe laughed softly. "I guess then we both take the blame." Ashe looked at Xander who was speaking, her focus was on him and him only. It would be rude if she didn't listen and she really didn't wish to hurt him further. "Yes, I am new. Just got here actually." Ashe figured she would tell him a little of the truth, no point in lying. Running her fingers through her hair again, Ashe nodded as he introduced himself, and her grin stayed upon her face as if she never stopped smiling. Xander. Nice name. But I'm afraid you will be calling me Ashelia. I cannot have my mission ruined. Ashe thought slightly sadly, but would eventually tell him after seeing Giles. Which sparked an idea in her precious mind. "My name is Ashelia. It's a pleasure to meet you Xander." Again you could hear the accent, and it was something she was proud of. Ashe doubted anyone would know where she originally came from, and for that she was grateful. No awkward questions or anything.
"So Xander, do you know where the library is? I have to pick up a few books." Ashe asked, knowing Giles would be there. The Watchers Council let her know things before being sent off, it was to help her anyway. Glancing over her shoulder, she looked back at Xander, smirking. He was pretty cute but Ashe had to remind herself she was here for one reason. She felt something bump into her, and she wheeled around. It was a girl from the popular group, although Ashe didn't know that. "The rock age is out, although your a perfect match for loser boy." The girl laughed, and her blood boiled. She disliked those that picked on others, and would do something about it. "Rock age? It's better than slut age. You really think some guy is gonne come near you if he thinks you've done half the football team?" Ashe asked, watching with relish as the girl went red.
The girl slapped her, and Ashe raised her hand to her face, rubbing her cheek. "And look, she fights like a midget." Ashe headbutted the girl, grabbing her arm and twisting it around her back. As the girl started crying out, an angered voice spilled onto the scene. "Let her go." Her eyes snapped up, looking at the person who was speaking. The principal. Ashe let go, the girl stumbled, and Mr Snyder didn't look too pleased. "My office. Now. He pointed at the two girls and Xander. "Wow, he didn't do anything." Ashe demanded, but stopped speaking as Snyder glared. "Wow, ok, office huh? Going now." Ashe said weakly. Jeez, what a killjoy. She felt guilty. She had gotten Xander in trouble as well. Not what she wanted.

Xander was definitely trying his best to be hospitable, and it was fairly easy to, this girl was definitely easy to listen to “OK, sharing of the blame sound’s like a plan” listening was certainly one of Xanders specialities… that he needed to work on but he was doing good. “Just got here huh? And you wanted to take in the smell of Chalk? I mean this isn’t exactly where I’d wanna be if I had a choice” he said with a light laugh and smile. He hoped this girl was OK and not some unknown evil thingie that wanted to do some evil thingie to him. He nodded politely “Ashelia, lovely name… hard to say for a dope like me but a nice name” the accent was oh so obvious, and he kinda liked it, it was cool,
“The library? Sure I know where that is, I’ll take ya” he said, hoping that Giles and Buffy weren’t doing training or research, this might be the one time that someone other than him and Buffy and Willow wanted to look in the library… well he personally never wanted to for the books, but for the people. He did have to admit there was a definite look to Ashelia, she was very easy to look at. He wasn’t stunned by the bumping or the comment, they were the Cordette’s after all, it was Askelia’s brilliant retort that made his jaw drop, he could never have come up with that himself, he was kinda happy that she had. He really didn’t mind them calling him Loser buy, that was fine by him, though the fact that Ashelia had been able to defend herself so quickly was really cool.
Then it got physical, one of the Cordette’s slapped him, he being a gentleman didn’t retaliate, though he did attempt to step in-between the gang of Cordette’s and Ashelia’s little brawl. When Snyder turned up he froze, he hadn’t done a thing wrong, heck he was the good guy here, so why was he in trouble. He gave a grimace to Ashelia “Well that’s Snyder, the guy who takes the pal out of principal… I think that the library may have to wait though” he said smiling,. He followed Snyder from a distance, and cos he figured he was in trouble anyway he pulled faces at Snyder when his back was turned, purely for the amusement of Ashelia.

Yep, Ashe liked this guy already. He wasn't a stuck up git like those at the Council, although in all fairness, they were training to become watchers. Like her in a way, she was training to be a watcher. "Yea, although I really had hoped they picked another school. Then again meeting you here is all worth the mess I just got you in." Ashe wasn't thinking clearly with her statements and she blushed ever so slightly, a red tinge upon her cheeks and she strode forwards so he didn't see, her footsteps heavy as she struggled with thoughts that run in her mind. Was she stupid enough to ruin this mission? Apparently so, but it wasn't her fault. Training, reading, and learning, it left no room for romance. A novice like those who first came into the Council and for once she was lost. Ashe didn't like that one bit. Not being in control was something she didn't like and not being able to find a way out, she succumbed and looked back at Xander, glad her cheeks were no longer red and feeling warm. Listening to him was like listening to something pleasant which didn't hurt her ears. A slight smile was upon her lips in an instance. Imagine what her teachers would say, that seemed to amuse the young teenager.
"Thank you, you are too kind." Ashe replied about the library until they were marching to the office which yes, that meant the library would have to wait. But that was okay, she could handle that. As long as she got there today it was fine. "I see what you mean." Ashe slowed down and was standing near Xander as they made their way to the office. "It's like he has a bug up his butt the size of Nebraska. Whats his deal anyway? Does he not like students in general?" Ashe wanted to know for further use, aka if she saw him she would turn the other way. Another thought occured and that was why someone who was so cruel and mean could ever become a principal. Snyder definitely had the evil feel to him. Not that she was an expert. Yet she was unable to stop grinning as Xander pulled faces, her eyes shining with delight like a kid in a candy store. Yes, this was rather good despite the trouble she was in, and for dragging him into it, she would apologize for that. However when Snyder opened the door, she felt a cold dread wash over her and she shivered slightly. Here we go,
First thing was first. "I am so sorry for getting you into trouble." Ashe said softly, her voice fill of sorrow. Stepping inside, Ashe walked to a seat and sat down, running her fingers over her jeans as if touching the materiel would calm her down. Not that it worked but she could try. Her nerves kept stinging every corner of her body, making her muscles seem to hum with energy as if a fight would break out. A moments notice and she could jump up and fight if needed. Yet if he was a demon she would be screwed. Ashelia was only human after all. Her eyes casted downwards as she stared at the floor, hoping this wouldn't last long so she could get out and into the fresh air again. Hurry, please, I really have more important things like finding Mr Giles. I have to complete this mission. Ashe looked back up, looking from Snyder to Xander and back to Snyder. Promising herself she would make this up to Xander, she waited for any punishment Snyder would dish out.

Xander hadn’t been sent to the principals office in a long time, he wasn’t the sort to make enough trouble to warrant being sent there so he was shuddering to think about what exactly might happen to him. At least though Ashe seemed to have a sense of humour about it, He looked at Snyder and then at Ashe trying not to laugh to loud cos then there’d be more detention “Oh I just think he doesn’t like anyone younger than him which seems to include anyone with a pulse” Xander replied, he wasn’t exactly fond of Snyder but then again no one was. Snyder had only been the principal at Sunnydale high for a few month after the mysterious disappearance of the old principal Mr Flutie but already he was getting a reputation as a big old butthead. He’d single handedly turned school from a semi-boring hell with pie on occasions to a fully fledged hell with pie off of the cafeteria menu… which may have helped increase the lifespan of the student population. At When Snyder opened the door Xander stopped pulling faces which had made the walk slightly bearable and breathed a deep breath
Xander looked at Ashe and shook his head “Don’t worry about it” really to Xander getting in trouble even that much of a big deal. He stepped inside and took the other empty chair beside Ashe and just waited. Snyder walked around them like a tiger stalking it’s prey. Xanders toes were moving lightly inside his shoes that were a size too big. He lightly twiddled his fingers on the arm of the chair as Snyder stalked around them in a big circle, not seeming to care that the Cordette that had started this whole mess had snuck off long ago. Snyder never had been one to treat everyone fairly, he seemed to want to keep the popular kids happy and those who had personalities (The not popular ones) were free to be word-slaughtered. Snyder sat in his chair and leaned back. The tension inside Xander was building.
”Now why is it whenever there’s a fight on campus it involves either you, summers or Rosenberg lately?” Snyder said to Xander, Ok so maybe since Buffy had turned up Xander had been dragged into more fights than he’d like but still not cool dragging Buffy into this “Blind luck?” Xander replied without thinking, as he was prone to do. Snyder smiled, that never meant anything good “And you young lady, you must be a new girl. Not a good way to get into my good books” “You have good books?” Xander said without thinking and instantly regretted it
